Standard Drivetrain Specs

The five trim levels of the 2018 VW Atlas are the S, Launch Edition, SE, SEL, and SEL Premium. The standard engine for the 2018 Atlas S is a 2.0L Turbocharged Inline 4-Cylinder that supplies the Atlas S with 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The 2018 Volkswagen Atlas S also has the option of being equipped with a 3.6L V6 engine that is standard equipment of the Launch Edition, SE, SEL, and SEL Premium trim levels. The 3.6L V6 cranks out 276 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque.

Interior Space

There is standard seating for seven people in all trim levels of the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas and they are provided with 153.7 cubic feet of overall passenger volume. Three rows of flexible seating make for easy transitioning between carrying maximum cargo, passengers, or almost any combination of each. Standard cargo space behind the third-row seat measures at 20.6 cubic feet and with both rear rows of seats folded flat the 2018 VW Atlas can hold up to 96.8 cubic feet of cargo.
